Privacy policy
This is a courtesy translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Norwegian privacy policy prevails.
Data controller
Solskifer AS, Kverndalsvegen 39, 2416 Jømna, Norway, is the data controller for the personal data collected via solskifer.no. Questions about privacy can be directed to post@solskifer.no.
What we collect
When you submit the quote form at /en/pricing we process:
- Name, e-mail address and phone number
- The property address (optional)
- Details about the building, roof area, roof pitch, roof orientation and existing roof
- Any photo of the roof you upload
- Timeline and free-text notes you enter yourself
Purpose
The data is used solely to assess your project, prepare a quote and contact you about it. The processing is based on the consent you give in the form (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
Retention period
Enquiries are deleted no later than 12 months after the last contact, unless you become a customer – in which case retention follows accounting and contract legislation.
Who has access
Only employees of Solskifer AS who work on your quote have access to the data. We do not sell it or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, and to withdraw your consent (GDPR Articles 15–17 and 21). Send an e-mail to post@solskifer.no and we will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.no).
Cookies
solskifer.no only uses technical cookies that are necessary for the site to function. We use no tracking, advertising cookies or third-party analytics tools.
